\nor the tweet of the hour
\nor the horror of the tragedies crossing your TV screen
\nor the past three years…<\/p>\n

Do not let it freeze your heart into inaction
\nbecause when despair wins
\nhumanity loses,
\nwhen despair wins
\nthe people suffer
\nwhen despair wins
\nour beautiful, necessary voices
\nare silenced.<\/p>\n

The Talmud teaches us :
\nDo not be daunted by the enormity of the world’s grief.
\nDo justly, now.
\nLove mercy, now.
\nWalk humbly now.
\nYou are not obligated to complete the work,
\nbut neither are you free to abandon it\u201d (PIvot).<\/p>\n

Today and each day remember
\nthat you are not alone
\nyou are not required do it all.
\nthat others are doing the work
\nin times and places you may not see.
\nRemember\u00a0that every one right thing you do each day
\njoins with the one right thing that thousands
\nand hundreds of thousands are doing each day
\nto create a tsunami of change.<\/p>\n

So what one right thing will you do?
\nWill you register voters?
\nwork for a campaign?
\nwrite letters?
\nmarch in the streets?
\nWill you pray and will you give your prayers feet?<\/p>\n
